Spotify main engagement to their marketing strategies is to attract young millennials and gen-z aged between 18–35-year Spotify uses data driven personalization to attract young millennials to engage features such as discover weekly and daily mixes. They use social media and Viral marketing to increase brand awareness such as platforms as Instagram, twitter, and Tik Tok. They also partner up with celebrities to promote music. They do blog posts for advertisements and campaigns. Spotify uses and attracts users to promote the benefits of music streaming such as personalized recommendations which uses algorithms to suggest music and they used Mood based playlists which has a feature which fits your mood and helps you discover latest music. They also have music discovery features which encourages you to listen to diverse types of music.

     Strengths and Weaknesses of inbound marketing for Spotify

·      Content creation is a strength in inbound marketing.

·      Data analysis is another strength because it allows the brand to better understand the customers.

·      The social features used in Spotify is another strength because it allows users to better understand how to open more features and music on their playlists.

·      Weaknesses in Spotify is that the lack of digital presence in other digital apps. They only use Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Not any other apps.

·      Another weakness is they try to get customers to upgrade too premium.

NETFLIX INBOUND MARKETING STRATEGY

Netflix key strategies is to post as much as they can by posting frequent posts around 110 per day an also interact on social media 2 hours a day and they also use streaming services which they create content by email and marketing to each subscriber what movies or genres of things they can watch online.

Netflix uses mobile optimization for young viewers to watch online which allows them to view catalogue on their mobile devices like smartphones and other tablets.

Lastly Netflix has invested a lot of money on its content so there are more viewers to watch and subscribe to Netflix.

Strengths and weaknesses of Inbound marketing for NETFLIX

·      Netflix is a popular streaming service.

·      Has over three hundred million subscribers

·      It has a variety of content.

·      Personalized recommendations

·       Subscription model to use.

·      Supports multiple devices such as phone tablet or laptop.

·      Weakness of Netflix is that they have drawbacks of content they have limited earnings from content.

·      Weakness is high content cost on Netflix.

·      Weakness is limited content availability.

·      Weakness is customer retention it should focus on retention rate.

·      Also, another weakness is Netflix has a debt which means that the debt can hamper the platform.

Which organization was the best inbound marketing and why?

My honest answer is that I found Netflix to have the best inbound marketing plan because they are well known platform to the community, and they have three hundred followers, and they have a strong social media presence. They have viral marketing and content sharing and. They have consistent brand identity and the key success to their logo and movies online. It is customer driven and the benefit of Netflix is that they use a customer centric model to gain customers for a seamless experience.

 

 

 

 

Give examples of how each organization could improve its inbound marketing!

 

Netflix and Spotify can improve its inbound marketing by creating a buzz and do more email marketing and run social media contest to create a buzz to increase brand awareness including more social sharing, so it leads to a better Seo ranking. Also implementing a loyal program so it builds a personal relationship with the buyer and create brand new advocates. They should also gather more surveys and customer service feedback to increase satisfaction. Work off Seo strategy so the website will rank higher. This is my opinion on how it could improve its inbound marketing strategy.

They could also expand more content by offering niche interests

And improve their search functionality by using search engine for specific content. They could also increase social media engagement by hosting Q&A sessions with actors and creators and do contest giveaways.

They can also provide more recommendations and do more interactive campaigns and experiment with new ad formats.
